It’s Alex Simring back again after a long break, I’m going to check out tumblr again to see what’s happening and then make a few posts real soon.
It’s Alex Simring back again after a long break, I’m going to check out tumblr again to see what’s happening and then make a few posts real soon.
This post lists that of the things that I’m interested in. I’m still learning about classical music, overseas travel, taking pictures and writing, and also have an interest in being a chef. I am learning to still the brain by counting the breath. food and nutrtion are important to me, in particular how to achieve optimal health. This Tumblr post is all about methods to find inner peace. To start of with , I’d like to share all of the experiences that I have had with learning the cello.
Alex Simring started learning the cello from the age of 5, but really credits the beginning of his music learning journey with playing the piano. Starting off with the piano provides a great way to “tune the ear” as well as introduce the basics of music theory. Playing music from an early age probably helps to balance the cerebral hemispheres, and this can be great with language development, mathematics and general learning.
“Choosing a good cello teacher will make all the difference”, states Simring, and this is probably what will differentiate a mediocre player from someone who has the potential to achieve musical greatness.
Alex Simring has written more about his experiences learning the cello at his original journal.
